Masterclass on Bank Analysis jointly organised with Moody's (23-25 May 2007, Budapest)

This event was attended by 18 delegates from 13 countries. The goal of the Training Course was to update skilled analysts on latest developments in bank analysis, rating methodologies, securitisation issues and capital management. The training was held by Maurice Skehan, Senior Analyst of Moody's; Andrea Durante, Securitisation Origination, Dexia Bank; Christopher Skak Nielsen, Manager, Risk Capital, Danske Bank; and BACEE's staff.

 

 

BACEE Seminar on "Securitisation/Structured Debt for Central & Eastern European Banks" held in association with Clifford Chance (16 April 2007, Budapest)

The seminar took place with the participation of 47 delegates from 23 countries. The goal of the seminar was to bring together representatives of the securitisation industry and banks interested in securitising their assets.

During the conference a special session dedicated to the activities of Export Credit Agencies in CEE was held. From BACEE's members the Eximbank Pte Ltd, MEHIB, the Czech Export Bank and HBOR hosted the session. Non-member participants were: Oesterreichische Kontrollbank and KfW.

On Day 1, based on the special agreement with EFMA (the European Financial Management and Marketing Association), EFMA's "CEE Banking Study 2007" was presented by the authors,(zeb.associates, Germany).

On Day 2, a session on Money Transfer was held, hosted by Uniastrum Bank, BACEE's member.

BACEE's Intensive Training Course on Bank Risk Analysis (13-15 February 2007, Budapest)

The training course was attended by 33 delegates from 21 countries. The goal of the training was to make participants acquinted with the most up-to-date methods in bank analysis with a particular focus on analysing banks in Central and Eastern Europe. The training was held by BACEE's staff.

 

 

 

BACEE's Seminar for the Members of the Hungarian Banking Association (25 January 2007)

BACEE's staff presented updated reports on the economic situation of Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine and their banking system to the members of the Hungarian Banking Association.

 

 

 

IFRS Seminar in Central and Eastern Europe - Three-day Masterclass. Organised jointly with KPMG BME Academy (15-17 January 2007, Budapest)

18 delegates from 11 countries participated in this seminar. Participants got acquainted with the latest changes in the IFRS rules and their application by banks, with special focus on CEE.
