Business Model for Information Security Practical Implementation Workshop organised by BACEE, endorsed by ISACA and IOR
The training course considers the operational risk challenges that organizational leaders and security managers need to confront. It also evaluates traditional approaches and Models used to address these challenges, introduces systemic thinking as a better way of thinking about information protection solutions and reviews the concepts contained within the Business Model for Information Security Management as a suitable solution. Being a highly interactive workshop it offers practical implementation to participants. The training is developed and held by Mr. Rolf von Roessing, CGEIT, CISA, CISM.
Trainer’s Biography
Mr. Rolf von Roessing
CGEIT, CISA, CISM
International Vice President, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CISSP, FBCI, is a retired partner and now an executive advisor at KPMG Germany. In addition to working at KPMG, he has many years of experience in consulting with large international banks and insurance companies, responsible for international projects in business continuity management and information security. Prior to entering the consulting sector, he was Head of IT for the EMEA region in a leading global security firm. He is a former member of the Board of Directors at the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), where he served from 2001-2008 and where he served as chair of the Audit Committee from 2003-2008. Von Roessing joined ISACA’s Security Management Committee in 2005. He chaired the working group for ITGI’s IT Control Objectives for Basel II publication and is currently a member of ISACA’s Framework Committee. He has published extensively on business continuity management, disaster recovery, crisis management and security matters.
